Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and analysis of consolidated financial statements, including management accounts, statutory accounts, and tax returns.
* Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and implement financial budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans.
* Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, treasury operations, and banking relationships.
* Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
* Business Partnering: Work closely with senior management to provide financial guidance and support business decisions.
* Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
Ideal Candidate:
* A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 10+ years of post-qualification experience.
* Proven experience as a Group Financial Controller or in a senior finance leadership role within a complex organisation.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and identify key trends.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
* A strategic thinker with a commercial focus and a proactive approach to business challenges.
