Apogee, Europe’s leading multi-brand provider of managed services, is seeking a Service Engineer and Delivery Specialist to join our team based out of Limerick. This role offers a unique chance to utilise your engineering skills while delivering and servicing equipment for our customers in the vibrant South/Southwest region of Ireland.
At Apogee, we're pioneers in transforming the way organisations operate, offering tailored solutions in print, document, and IT services. As a Service Engineer and Delivery Specialist, you'll be an integral part of our Managed Print Service, supporting and maintaining devices while also managing deliveries across the South/Southwest of Ireland. While primarily based out of Limerick, you'll have the exciting opportunity to occasionally travel to clients outside of this area. The role comes with a company vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond promptly to customer service requests for the repair of business equipment.
* Proactively monitor devices for faults and consumable requirements.
* Undertake fault diagnosis and establish effective repairs.
* Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
* Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Provide guidance and training to clients to maximise equipment productivity.
* Effectively manage onsite stock of spare parts and consumables.
* Deliver and install equipment to client locations, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
* Maintain delivery logs and records accurately.
* Adhere to all security, vetting, health, and safety requirements.
Experience and Skills Required
* Engineering background with technical qualifications or experience.
* IT savvy with a strong understanding of technical equipment.
* Professional and courteous demeanour with clients.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Self-motivated and results-oriented.
* Flexible approach to work and embracing change.
* Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
