EHS Specialist
My client, an Engineering Services provider, is seeking an EHS Specialist. They specialize in managing Commissioning, Construction Services, Calibration, Operations & Maintenance scopes of work within global manufacturing facilities across EMEA and North America.
The client partners with the world's leading manufacturers across the Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical & Biologics, Medical Device, and Data Centre sectors. The successful candidate will join an established EHS department and collaborate with a team of Engineering and Technical professionals immersed in cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Promote a continuous improvement culture in relation to health & safety and environmental work practices on client sites.
* Conduct weekly toolbox talks/shared learnings and regular site audits/inspections to ensure safety operating procedures are adhered to.
* Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 & 45001 standards, client site requirements, and legal requirements.
* Carry out accident, incident investigations, and root cause analysis studies.
* Supervise and manage health & safety and environmental documentation to support the Company's integrated EHS management system.
* Deliver Health & Safety induction programmes and site-specific training for personnel working on site.
* Represent at client site meetings for safety performance, safety projects, and risk assessments reporting.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in Health and Safety, ideally in a construction or sustaining environment within the Pharmaceutical, Datacentre, or Semiconductor industries.
* Knowledge of electrical safety and LOTO (Lock Out/Tag Out) would be an advantage.
* Experience in leading and carrying out Risk Assessments & Method statements and EHS audits.
* Ability to deliver training modules to all levels of the organisation.
* Highly motivated with excellent attention to professional H&S standards.
