We are now looking to recruit aFinancial Controllerto join their Finance Team in the Dublin Head Office. This is an opportunity to lead the accounting, financial control, and reporting function for the Staycity Group. Our centralised finance team, based in Dublin City Centre, supports our 1,400 (and growing) colleagues across Ireland, the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Austria,and the Netherlands.

Ideally you will have experience in:
* You must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
* You should have min 5 years of PQE with proven people management experience.
* You must be a strong people leader who cares about your team's development.
* Have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, business acumen and a commercial mindset to create balanced solutions and recommendations.
* Have a highly collaborative nature and enjoy working within a multifunctional team.
* Demonstrated ability to transform processes ie. a positive change maker.
* Enjoy working in a high-growth, busy and innovative environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Lead the accounting, financial control and reporting function for the Staycity Group.
* Create monthly management accounts providing insights and variance analysis.
* Manage the annual audit process across the group (incl. EU-based audit firms) and oversee the preparation of annual financial statements.
* Develop and maintain robust financial controls across the group.
* Provide expert technical accounting advice to business as required.
* Lead the automation and simplification of accounting processes to ensure scalability as the group expands.
* Champion the implementation of new systems incl. new ERP Microsoft Business Central and Power BI reporting suite.
* Lead business partner for General/ Divisional managers; driving and leading them in achieving our KPI’s.
* Assist or lead in growth-related projects across the wider group as required incl. new property integration.
* Support the CSRD reporting project and contribute to the achievement of the group's sustainability strategy.
* Lead a team of qualified/part qualified accountants and enable them to deliver their best.
