OBJECTIVE
The Store Manager is a true business owner for their store. They are responsible for leading, managing and continuously developing all aspects of their store's business. They are accountable for creating and maintaining a positive and highly productive work environment that aligns with the company's mission. They will be responsible for consistently achieving sales & profitability goals, operational objectives, merchandising standards and developing a highly successful Sales, Operations, and Visual team.
Business Leader
1. Develop and execute the store’s retail strategies
2. Local market knowledge of clientele base and brand competitors
3. Aware of business trends that relate to the success of the store
4. Demonstrate strong business acumen through KPI’s to develop and support business driving strategies
5. Lead team by leveraging company tools, incentives & strategies to support meeting sales goals
People Leader
6. Ensure that the store team exudes Alo's mission and guiding principles to effectively communicate to our visitors who we are, what we do and why we do what we do
7. Develops an environment of growth, accountability and inclusivity through development, performance management, training and consistent coaching
8. Conducts talent analysis of colleagues and establish career progression plans for key players and positions to result in retention of best talent and turnover reduction
9. Establish internal & external pipeline through succession planning and recruitment strategy
Operations Leader
10. Oversee Sales & Service, Operations, and Visual Managers to ensure execution of all key strategies
11. Oversee and support execution of key operational and visual guidelines
12. Champion strong visual standards for the salesfloor by leveraging business performance data
13. Support a safe work environment and efficient operation
Business Partner
14. Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to support organizational goals
15. Be a brand ambassador and create a store culture that aligns with Alo’s mission
16. Demonstrate an ability to navigate the organization with a balance of business need and brand culture
17. Create and implement effective communication strategies throughout store
Store Manager Qualifications:
18. 5+ years of retail or related industry leadership experience
19. Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
20. Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
21. Agile with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment
22. Highly Motivated by driving business in a fast-paced, innovative environment
23. Business owner mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit
24. Independent work ethic, time management skills, and personal accountability
25. Aligns with and embodies Alo’s guiding principles
26. Seniority Level: Mid-Senior level
To build a balanced schedule that supports the needs of the business and our teams, we expect all full-time employees to have open availability and are expected to work variable shifts including peak days and weekends. All employees without exception are expected to be able to work during the company’s Blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving (including Black Friday and Thanksgiving weekend) through the end of the holiday season (the 1st week of January).LI-JJ1
