Purpose of the role Reporting to the Market Development Director, J&J Vision Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa (CEEMA), this position will support the CEEMA management board, cluster General Managers and key members of their boards as a leading member of the Program Management Office for key business projects and new market initiatives.
The successful candidate will be a leading expert individual contributor who is viewed as a valuable resource by peers in managing large projects and critical business processes transformations.
Project examples include establishment of new legal entities, development of new trade channels, business model changes (indirect to direct and vice versa), new ERP & supply chain system implementations, new E2E models for market supply.

Market Development will apply industry best practices in process excellence and project management to critical customer facing and sales enablement processes, driving and sustaining a continuous business improvement culture within the organization.
Collaboration partners will include global, regional and local functions including supply chain, finance, IT, compliance, marketing and commercial organizations.

What to expect:
Strategic and Key Business Projects * Initiate, deliver and support various key projects focused on market development.
* Prepares and drives business case development, understands the markets' business dynamics in order to provide expertise on data interpretation for the commercial management.
* Collaborates and maintains open communication channels with key cross-functional stakeholders and sales leaders in order to facilitate product launches, go-to-market strategies, and ensure policies and procedures align and complement each other.
Continuous Process Improvement * Applies process excellence best practices such as process decomposition and mapping, in combination with a wide variety of data sources and analytical methods, to set up objectives and continually assess value propositions to customers, the evolution of customer needs and develop internal processes and KPIs to monitor business process efficiency.
* Plans improvements to market operations strategies to streamline sales enablement processes through integration of digital systems that boost productivity and allow sales team members to focus on meaningful customer engagements.
Leadership * Role models and guides colleagues through consultation and mentoring in techniques and processes.
* Provides functional (matrix) supervision .
Who are we looking for?
Business Acumen * Excellent understanding of commercial, marketing, administration and supply chain processes.
* Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial business planning processes.
* Experience in identifying and executing on cash flow optimization opportunities.
Strong Project Management, Process Excellence and Facilitation Skills * Demonstrated experience in developing project business cases, budgets and conducting value realization analysis.
* Proven capability in business solution analysis & framing end to end project scope from planning through to hyper care.
* Remote management of critical project phases within strict scope, timelines, resources and budget constraints and management of associated risk.
* Certification in FPX, PMBOK and/or Agile project management techniques.
* Demonstrated process excellence skills including use of process decomposition, mapping and workshop facilitation skills (in person and remote).
IT & Compliance Knowledge * Understanding of IT processes and solutions in logistics and finance (CRM, EDI, B2B e-commerce, B2B2C, VMI, ERP, WMS solutions) is critical.
* Experience in working in SOX & GxP related projects is desirable.
