Overall Purpose of the Job
Accurately and efficiently co-ordinate the onsite facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating the day to day operation on the ground, co-ordinating the maintenance, caretaking, cleaning andcatering departments. The Soft Services Lead will also be responsible for liaising closely with the client withday to day operational matters.
Main duties and Responsibilities
1. Adopt commercial responsibility for the soft services element account ensuring that the financial objectives are met (account reconciliation, billing and trending).
2. Manage cost control and review costs with the objective of reducing costs and achieving savings as per contractual glidepath targets.
3. Promote and deliver the aims of the Company to meet or exceed the quality levels and customer support objectives central to the Company’s core business.
4. Manage a team of operatives and support hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching and development.
5. Manage the soft services portfolio to ensure a quality service while maximising efficiencies.
6. Ensure that control measures are in place to ensure that safe working environments exist to provide subcontractors with the facilities required to carry out functions without interruption to the Company’s business.
7. Manage and be responsible for all aspects of the portfolio under your control.
8. Ensure that the service delivery is managed in line with the SLA and KPIs.
9. Establish and manage quality measures and procedures in conjunction with the Company to enable two-way communication, ensuring feedback and continuous improvement is achieved.
10. Facilitate and manage training requirements to ensure that staff are fully trained in all aspects of the service provision.
11. Ensure that all HR policies and procedures are complied with for the team.
12. Prepare monthly reporting for all services covered under contract.
Qualifications and Experience
13. Previous experience working in a regulated Client environment.
14. Previous business management experience.
15. Knowledge/working within the cleaning/security function essential.
16. Third level qualification or trade qualification equivalent.
17. Member of a relevant professional organisation.
18. PSA accredited.
19. Financial and budgetary experience essential.
20. Project management experience.
21. A full clean driving licence is essential for this role.
