We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Working Team Lead to join our team and play a key role in driving excellence and innovation in Facilities Maintenance and Engineering.
Sodexo is on the lookout for a Working Team Leader - Mechanical to oversee the safe operation and maintenance of essential mechanical systems at our prestigious, big-brand client site. If you’re passionate about engineering excellence, compliance, and leadership, this role is for you!
What you'll do:
* Lead & Manage: Oversee the maintenance and operation of mechanical systems, including Pressure Systems, Heating, Chilled & Cooling Systems, and Life Safety Suppression Systems.
* Drive Compliance & Safety: Ensure all activities meet regulatory standards (PSSR, F-Gas, Legionella Regulations) while maintaining the highest safety protocols.
* Develop & Train: Mentor and manage the on-site technical services team, ensuring professional growth and operational excellence.
* Optimise Performance: Manage planned, corrective, and reactive maintenance while utilising the CAFM Maximo system for efficiency.
* Collaborate & Innovate: Work alongside the General Services Manager to enhance service delivery, engage with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
* HND or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline with 5+ years of experience in Building Services Maintenance.
* Technical knowledge and strong understanding of compliance and Health & Safety legislation.
* Proven ability to manage teams, plan workloads, and drive performance.
* A proactive and solution-focused mindset.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAFM systems (IBM Maximo preferred), and Building Management Systems (BMS).
* An analytical mindset with the ability to make quick, effective decisions.
