Financial Controller
The Financial Controller plays a critical role in overseeing the financial operations and performance of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervision and review of financial records, accounts payable/receivable, bookkeeping, payroll, cash and bank control, and CSO returns.
* Management of hotel finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Preparation of monthly management accounts, profit and loss account, balance sheet, and cash flow.
* Daily, weekly, and monthly revenue, labor, and overhead reports.
* Regular financial analysis, identifying trends, and providing insights to enhance profitability and control costs.
Requirements:
* Ambitious, confident, and professional individual with strong communication, organizational, analytical, and management skills.
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional qualification is a plus).
* 3 years PQE as a qualified accountant, preferably in hospitality, food & beverage, or retail sectors.
* Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, financial reporting, and budgeting.
* Strong knowledge of hotel financial operations, including revenue management, cost control, and financial analysis.
