Job Title: Junior Global Site Support Technician Location: Dundalk Reporting to: IT Manager – Global Site Support Manager Overview of Role: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Global Site Support Junior Technician to join our IT Department in Dundalk.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with the setup, installation, and configuration of computer systems, peripherals, and software.
Provide first-level IT support to global employees, addressing hardware, software, and network issues and escalate to appropriate resource when needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintain and update IT equipment inventory and ensure compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with the Global Site Support team to improve support processes and ensure system reliability.
Deliver exceptional customer service to internal users, ensuring their IT needs are met.
Document technical issues and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
Support special IT projects and initiatives as required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
Strong problem-solving skills with a logical and analytical approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A keen interest in technology and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
Experience in a similar role or IT certification (., CompTIA A+, ITIL) is a plus but not essential.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Occasional after-hours and weekend work may be necessary for maintenance and configuration outside regular working hours.
