Job Title: Technical Sales Executive - Kilkenny
As a Technical Sales Executive, your primary responsibility will be to support the sales development and technical support of light gauge steel products and metal roofing products in both domestic and commercial markets. You will work closely with the sales team, clients, and construction professionals to drive sales, develop customer relationships, and assist with product innovations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. End-to-End Sales Process: Manage the entire sales cycle from initial inquiry to closing the sale, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout.
2. Product Promotion: Use various marketing channels like websites, social media, and trade shows to promote company products.
3. Client Relations: Build and maintain relationships with architects, contractors, and other construction professionals to increase business opportunities.
4. Technical Support: Provide product knowledge and technical support to both clients and the internal sales team.
5. Order Processing & Construction Detailing: Oversee order processing, construction detailing, and assist in product development and improvement.
6. Research & Development: Stay updated with industry trends, conduct market research, and contribute to the development of new products and solutions.
Skills & Experience Required:
1. Industry Experience: Experience in a similar role, ideally within the construction sector.
2. Technical Competence: Ability to read and interpret construction drawings for quotations and specifications.
3. CAD Skills: Experience with CAD packages is highly desirable, and familiarity with Tekla, Solidworks, or Revit would be a strong advantage.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
5. Customer-Centric Approach: Understanding customer needs and providing appropriate solutions to meet their requirements.
6. Sales & Relationship Building: Strong customer service skills with proven ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and construction professionals.
7. Marketing: Experience or willingness to use social media and other digital platforms to promote products and generate sales leads.
8. Construction Knowledge: Good knowledge of construction industry standards and building regulations.
9. Continuous Learning: Enthusiastic about researching market trends and keeping up with new product developments.
