The Role of the Service Engineer
• Travel to customer sites to perform duties.
• Install, service, and repair instrumentation.
• Represent the company and maintain professional customer relations.
• Plan and prepare for site visits to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure products are installed safely, correctly, and meet customer satisfaction.
• Complete site reports promptly after visits.
• Receive training on instruments to service them effectively.
• Provide customer training to ensure they understand instrument operation.
• Will be office based for 2 days, field based for 3 days.
The Ideal Person for the Service Engineer
• Previous experience in working with instrumentation.
• Experience with gas analysers is desirable but not essential.
• Must have a passion for travel and flexibility for overnight stays during the week.
• Participate in an on-call service rota for key customers.
• Willingness to cover on-call duties as part of the rota is essential.
