Job Title: Shipping Administrator
We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in shipping, freight, or logistics to join our team. Our client, a reputable employer in the shipping industry, is expanding its operations and requires a skilled Shipping Administrator.
About the Job:
The successful candidate will be a key member of the shipping operations team, reporting directly to the Operations Director. Key responsibilities include:
* Acting as a point of contact for customers and external partners/contractors
* Coordinating vessel movements to and from port
* Stock/inventory and warehouse operations reporting
* Maintaining accurate import and export documentation
* Planning for incoming traffic
* Resolving queries and supporting the management team
This role requires a strong ability to multitask, work with diverse teams, and possess excellent IT skills. The ideal candidate will have 2-3+ years of experience in a relevant shipping or logistics role, a full and clean driving license, and own transport.
