Description
The role of an IT Business Analyst is varied but it is essentially a key bridge between business process, stakeholders and IT resulting in continued digital transformation for Chanelle. Moreover, the role is to identify challenges, opportunities within specific business processes (through gathering user stories and supporting data, artefacts) and work to provide effective and transformative digital solutions in addition to progressing initiatives (either individually or as part of a larger project) to streamline operations and improve functionality, procedures/ policies, efficiency whilst maintaining compliance in our regulated environment. Therefore, the ability and desire to learn new concepts, processes, tools, systems is essential. Equally important is to bring a growth mindset and curiosity to all aspects.
Specifically for this role it will be working with our colleagues in the Manufacturing function. Therefore, an understanding and experience of working in this environment is key to driving credibility and a strong partnership with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and communicate with key stakeholders, liaising across functions where necessary to gather, understand requirements and priorities
* Forging strong relationships with the manufacturing and wider functions
* Identify issues, investigate and assess options providing recommendations for resolution (in order to drive improvements to existing processes, policies)
* In conjunction with project managers and vendors, define project requirements, milestones, phases, scope, resourcing needs and compile project documents
* Analyse business requirements and write specifications
* As required configure systems and/or work with vendors to implement configurations
* Investigate and resolve escalated issues/ tickets and document fixes, answers for our IT knowledge base
* Project management of small to medium initiatives
* Conduct software, process testing and complete appropriate documentation
* Deliver training and support to end-users to ensure successful solution adoption
* Create, maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes, validation and operations
* Key driving role in subject matter area for enterprise systems projects such as ERP, etc.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree/ Masters in Manufacturing or similar is essential
* Minimum 5 years experience of working in a Manufacturing function (ideally in a regulated industry) is essential
* High aptitude in Microsoft applications i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc is essential
* Experience of ERP projects and systems highly desirable
* Experience in a Business analyst role and/ or process analyst is highly desirable
* Project Management knowledge/ experience/ training/ certification is desirable
