(CHI) is leading on the clinical and operational transformation of acute paediatric healthcare and consists of hospitals at Crumlin, Temple Street and Tallaght as well as an Urgent Care Centre at Connolly hospital in Blanchardstown.
DescriptionPurpose of the Role The post holder will be assigned to The Alders Unit, a specialist child sexual abuse service and will be expected to contribute to the overall management and leadership of the service as well as undertaking clinical work.
It will be necessary for the person appointed to possess the skills, knowledge and adaptability to work in The Alders Unit as part of the management team of the Unit, including the provision of supervision and line management to therapists/staff members employed in the service.
Minimum RequirementsOn the latest date for receiving completed applications for the post, candidates must hold a recognised post graduate qualification in Psychotherapy and be registered as a full member with a relevant Psychotherapy body.At least seven years' experience working therapeutically in a clinical setting, including hours spent in clinical training.Have a minimum of four years' experience of working directly with children, including substantial and demonstrable experience working clinically with children, adolescents who have experienced harm or neglect as well as their parents/carers/families.
