The project: We are looking for an Offshore Contract Manager to be responsible for managing all contractual administration and reporting of our Offshore Phase 2 High Voltage Equipment and Marine Surveys Packages.
The proposed HV equipment Pre-Qualification is due to commence in May 2025, followed by a tender preparation exercise immediately.
Marine survey works are due to commence in July 2025 and will primarily involve Geophysical, Environmental, and Metocean surveys along our proposed subsea cable routes.
The Offshore Contract Manager will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of commercial agreements and contracts.
Key to success in this role is collaboration, working with industry and teams across clients to drive out appropriate solutions to a range of complex technical and commercial issues.
Building and maintaining strong professional relationships both externally and internally, as well as having the people skills to influence others and to find workable solutions, is key to success.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare contract documents, warranties, bonds, and licenses for formal execution by appropriate parties.
Prepare costing associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities, and client charges, and present these to clients.
Process connection applications and prepare and issue connection offers to parties seeking to connect to the transmission system.
Provide a professional, quality, and consistent contract service to customers connecting to and using the transmission system.
Manage a high volume of complex contracts for transmission connected generators/demand customers.
Monitor contractual compliance to ensure client and its customers meet their contractual obligations.
Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Act as the main point of contact with customers on contract-related issues.
Coordinate and host meetings between customers and client.
Support the team leads in identifying and managing risks to client arising out of the offer process and/or contract management activities.
Train and support other team members as required.
Minimum Requirements: Contracts Manager experience with successful administration of High Voltage and Marine survey contracts.
Proven experience of FIDIC form of contract is essential; LOGIC form of contract is desirable.
Contract management experience throughout the life cycle of large offshore wind projects.
Extensive knowledge of managing contracts for Offshore Wind Electrical projects.
Strong negotiation and conflict management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
