Our client provides mechanical and electrical consultancy services to various sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare, educational, and pharmaceutical.
As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will work on a range of projects throughout EMEA and be a key member of the management team.
You will be a talented problem-solver, applying current technologies and making independent technical judgements in a fast-paced environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with team members to uphold design processes and engineering techniques to the highest standard.
Reviewing technical designs to ensure full understanding of design and scope.
Enhancing functionality and cost-efficiency on projects.
Leading a high-performing team, championing QA and QC, and meeting deadline targets.
Monitoring costs and innovating to minimize expenses.
Managing resources within the group, including outsourcing.
Interpreting contracts and working within established terms and conditions.
Liaising with senior management regarding new industry trends and products.
Assisting in the procurement of new business.
Effectively communicating with external parties (clients, suppliers, partners).Building relationships with external business associates.
Representing the group within the wider company.
Managing a team in the delivery of multiple large-scale projects.
Monitoring team development through regular communication.
Training junior team members and addressing performance issues.
Ensuring understanding of new technologies by the team.
Requirements:
Honours degree - Chartered (an advantage, but not essential).10+ years recognized expertise within the electrical engineering sector.3+ years' experience in people management, managing multidisciplinary teams.3+ years' project management experience, overseeing electrical and mechanical engineering projects.
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Ability to work well with employees at all levels.
Drive for continuous innovation and adoption of emerging technologies.
Championing excellence in the design process and engineering techniques.
Package:
Salary €85k - €95k depending on experience.
