Technical Support Engineer Opportunity
We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our Platform Technologies team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and data integrity of our platform.
About the Role:
* Resolve technical issues for internal and external customers
* Maintain accurate customer records and case hygiene
* Act as a customer advocate, supporting platform users and administrators
* Troubleshoot complex technical situations related to the client's platform functionalities
* Manage customer expectations and ensure high satisfaction
* Maintain technical expertise and share knowledge with customers
* Suggest process improvements and collaborate with internal teams
* Communicate effectively with customers through various channels
* Create knowledge base articles for improved efficiency and customer empowerment
Requirements:
* 2+ years of related experience within a technical support environment
* Bachelor's in Computer Science (or related technical degree) desired
* Understanding of Object-oriented programming languages like Java
* Understanding and knowledge of the components in the web applications stack
* Knowledge of the scripting languages: JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell
* Knowledge of Linux/Unix
* Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
