Job Responsibilities
* Support new staff integration with the team.
* Introduce new support workers to service users.
* Provide a thorough induction for new staff to service users.
Carry out Quality checks/Reviews, Audit Assessments of new service users, care reviews on existing service users, provide domestic and personal care to service users in their own homes, attend Team Leader and Management meeting, distribute PPE On Call when required, ad hoc duties that may arise, liaise with managers in relation to Service User needs.
Work in co-operation with various professionals and service users and/or carers in providing agreed care plans, empower service users to remain independent in their homes, promote community inclusion, and enhance the quality of life of Service Users.
Requirements
* Verifiable home care industry experience of more than 1 year in the last 3 years.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* QQI 5/6 qualifications or willing to work towards completing QQI6.
* Eligibility to work in Ireland.
* Reliable, caring, able to read, write and speak in English to a high standard, flexible and adaptable nature, willing to travel to provide care to the service users in the community.
* Person-centered approach to supporting the Service Users in Homecare.
* Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Availability to work a variety of shift types 24/7.
