About the Role
This is a dynamic role for an ambitious and experienced forensic accountant to join our highly successful and growing Forensic & Investigation Services team.
The successful candidate will enjoy challenging, interesting and rewarding work, across a broad range of assignments involving forensic accounting, fraud and conduct investigations and disputes.
Responsibilities:
* Managing a portfolio of investigation and dispute cases.
* Supporting the development of case strategies and work plans for various complex matters.
* Gathering and critically assessing evidence; liaising with third parties as needed.
* Forensically analysing financial information and other relevant evidence.
* Preparing high quality written reports and output for formal uses, including legal proceedings.
* Maintaining detailed workpapers and well-organised evidence and case files.
* Supporting ongoing business development initiatives and managing/building relationships with clients and intermediaries.
* Coaching and supporting more junior members of the team.
* Contributing to the financial and commercial management of the unit including budgeting/forecasting, and invoicing/debtor management.
About the Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* A qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with 2-3 years PQE.
* Experience in forensic accounting and investigation is essential.
* Certification in a relevant field, for example forensic accounting, is desirable.
* Demonstrate the capacity to analyse and assimilate large volumes of complex material and quickly identify key issues.
* Experience in managing a team while simultaneously delivering multiple assignments to a diverse client-base.
* Excellent report writing skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Able to foster trusted relationships with our clients and intermediaries, combined with strong commercial acumen and expertise.
* A good work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude and approach to work, and ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
