We are currently recruiting for a Director of Sales for Byrne Hotel Group. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Irish hotel market at a senior level. As the Director of Sales you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue, and manage relationships with clients and partners. Must have hotel experience.Responsibilities:Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy for Salthill Hotel, Eyre Square Hotel, and Victoria Hotel, ensuring alignment with each property's unique offerings, target markets, and overall business objectives.Analyse local and regional market trends, customer segments, and competitors to create tailored marketing plans and campaigns for each hotel.Lead and manage the sales and marketing team for all three properties, fostering collaboration and synergy to maximize overall performance and results.Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders in Galway City and beyond to drive sales and ensure guest satisfaction across all properties.Oversee the development of promotional materials and targeted marketing campaigns for each hotel, leveraging digital and traditional channels to raise brand awareness and generate leads.Collaborate with hotel managers and staff to ensure a consistent and cohesive brand identity across all marketing channels and guest touchpoints for each property.Develop and manage annual budgets for the sales and marketing department, allocating resources effectively across the three hotels and tracking ROI.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback for each property, making strategic adjustments to marketing initiatives as needed to drive continuous improvement.Represent Salthill Hotel, Eyre Square Hotel, and Victoria Hotel at industry events, conferences, and trade shows in Ireland and abroad to promote the unique experiences offered by each property.Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the performance of sales and marketing initiatives for each hotel, recommending adjustments as needed.Requirements:Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales and marketing role within the hospitality, events, or entertainment industry.Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media management, and brand development.Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets.Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.INDHP
