Job Title: Utilities Plant Engineer
Location: Dublin 8, Ireland
The successful candidate will be part of the Veolia site team at a client site in Dublin City Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with contract team, client engineering, equipment vendors, and service providers to ensure maximum uptime of utilities plant and equipment within the contract scope.
* Ensure equipment follows all regulatory, statutory, and client corporate requirements.
* Develop day-to-day relationships with Veolia Contract Manager, Site Operations engineers, Planner/Scheduler, client Engineering Managers, and project managers.
* Represent Utilities at Capitol Project meetings, Hazop, and Safety meetings.
* Identify energy-saving schemes and liaise with site and Veolia Energy Engineers.
* Liaise with Quality to prepare and participate in internal and external audits.
Requirements:
* Engineering degree or equivalent mechanical/process and/or building services experience.
* Three to ten years post-graduate experience or Marine qualification with six to ten years' experience at sea.
* Maintenance and troubleshooting experience of Purified Water systems, Industrial Gases, Compressed Air, Ammonia Refrigeration, and Waste Water Treatment.
* Familiarity with Instrumentation and controls.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience in the Food & Beverage Industry.
* Design and/or modification of systems, maintenance and troubleshooting experience, familiarity with Ammonia Refrigeration Systems, and Hazardous Area Gas Analysers.
