Opportunity for M&E Resident Engineer
We are seeking an experienced M&E Resident Engineer to join our team, with a focus on Water projects in County Meath.
About the Role
* Specialise in Mechanical & Electrical elements of MEICA Projects.
* Drive delivery of projects onsite for Uisce Éireann, prioritising health and safety, time management, cost control, and quality standards.
* Ensure works adhere to contract documents and specifications.
* Monitor and report on works progress to Employer's Requirements.
* Communicate issues arising on site to relevant stakeholders.
* Implement Uisce Éireann's safety policies and standards.
* Review and comment on project/site specific HSQE documentation.
* Maintain compliance with contract health and safety requirements.
* Perform weekly documented health and safety site reviews.
* Report and investigate accidents or incidents on site.
Desired Experience
* At least 7 years' experience in site supervision, contract administration, and project management of MEICA works.
* A Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
* Knowledge of civil engineering works, design build operate projects, and project management.
* Strong knowledge and experience of Health and Safety procedures and regulations.
* Satisfactory knowledge of construction contracts.
You will also have excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work within a team at all times.
