Senior Account Manager
We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to play a key leadership role in managing the successful delivery of FMCG field management contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contract Management & Delivery:
o Oversee the management and execution of multiple FMCG field sales contracts.
o Ensure timely and efficient delivery of client expectations, meeting KPIs and targets.
o Manage day-to-day client communications, reporting, addressing issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Client Relationship Management:
o Serve as senior point of contact for our clients, fostering strong, lasting relationships.
o Maintain high level of client engagement to anticipate their needs and improve service levels.
o Conduct regular performance reviews and prepare comprehensive client reports to demonstrate added value.
* Commercial Oversight:
o Take full ownership of financial performance of FMCG accounts, ensuring profitability and commercial success.
o Collaborate with internal finance and operational teams to ensure cost control and margin management.
o Manage budgets, forecasts, and performance analysis to align with company's financial objectives.
* Driving Organic Growth:
o Identify and implement strategies to drive organic growth within existing accounts.
o Develop up-sell and cross-sell opportunities in collaboration with Leadership Team.
* New Business Development:
o Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand services for existing client portfolio.
o Participate in pitches and tender processes, working with Leadership Team to develop compelling tender propositions.
* Team Leadership & Development:
o Lead and mentor client service team and field sales personnel, ensuring they deliver against objectives.
o Foster positive and productive working environment, encouraging collaboration and performance excellence.
o Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.
Your Profile
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in account management, ideally within FMCG. Previous experience in managing client contracts, P&L responsibility, and business development is essential.
* Commercial Acumen: Strong financial understanding, with proven ability to manage budgets, pricing models, and profitability.
* Leadership: Experience in leading teams and driving results through effective management, motivation, and development of staff.
* Client-Focused: Exceptional client management skills with ability to understand client needs and build long-term partnerships.
* Sales & Business Development: Track record of driving organic growth within existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present ideas clearly to both clients and internal stakeholders.
* Results-Oriented: Proven ability to meet targets, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work in fast-paced environment.
