We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to contribute to our UK & Ireland team at Better, a company building software solutions for medical teams to improve patient care.
Our open-data digital health platform stores over 30 million patients' electronic health records worldwide, making data quality a top priority.
The successful candidate will identify and execute high-impact sales campaigns and events in collaboration with our Global Marketing team, ensuring leads are promptly followed up to maximize conversion and revenue potential.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing a strategic territory plan to maintain strong engagement across the ICB and Trust landscape.
* Driving business growth by creating and managing multi-year plans, maintaining CRM updates, and ensuring accurate sales forecasting.
* Working closely with the UK & I Sales team and Global Marketing team to generate and maintain relationships with leads as well as identify sales campaigns and events.
* In collaboration with the Head of Bids and Sales Enablement, overseeing all commercial proposals with internal customers, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders.
* Providing technical expertise throughout the entire sales process and leading client demonstrations, exhibitions, and site visits while managing the full sales lifecycle from initial engagement to deal closure.
Required skills and experience:
* 10+ years' experience in software enterprise sales, account directorship, or senior account management.
* Strong knowledge of enterprise healthcare software solutions and their application within the NHS, as well as expertise in medication management, with the ability to engage customers at all levels.
* Proven record of accomplishment in managing and winning complex NHS bids and a deep understanding of NHS procurement processes and requirements.
* High motivation and self-drive with the ability to make informed, quick, and effective decisions under pressure both independently and as part of a team.
* Experience with CRM systems and sales methodologies.
