Virginia Park Lodge is looking for a candidate to manage the day-to-day operations of our sister site, The Deerpark Inn.
The Deerpark Inn is a gastro pub with 6 bedrooms in Virginia, County Cavan (1 hr drive from Dublin) and is part of the Virginia Park Lodge estate, which is now in its tenth year under the watchful eye of owner and two-time Michelin Star chef, Richard Corrigan.
As Restaurant and Bar Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Deerpark Inn, including all food and drink, events, and coordinate with the GM and head of housekeeping regarding the room operations.
You will be expected to be operational and guest-facing, ensuring our guests are welcomed and that the pub is ready for its daily operations with team briefings, menu and event management, and ensuring the scene is set with music acts and lighting.
You will be responsible for overseeing the team, menus, stock controls, health and safety, and the maintenance of the building, including any improvements needed. You will report to the General Manager and work closely with the housekeeping, maintenance, and sales team, as well as our wider operations team in London.
