Procurement Analyst Job Description
Morgan McKinley are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Procurement Analyst to join our client, an expanding healthcare company in Cork.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) efficiently and ensure timely delivery by monitoring the process and resolving any discrepancies with suppliers.
* Address supplier inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly to maintain smooth operations.
* Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and supplier performance metrics.
* Support supplier negotiations by providing data-backed insights and recommendations.
* Develop and maintain complex Excel models, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros, to streamline procurement processes.
* Utilize Power BI to create interactive dashboards and reports that provide real-time visibility into procurement activities.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret data requirements for procurement projects.
* Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement and supply chain processes.
* Assist in forecasting and budgeting activities related to procurement.
* Conduct market research and benchmarking to support strategic sourcing initiatives.
Requirements:
* 4+ years of experience in procurement, data analysis, or a related role.
* Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
* Proficiency in using Excel at an advanced level, including creating and managing macros with hands-on experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
