Your new company
You will be working for a leading energy company with a long-established history, based in Dublin City. As the Finance and Administration Officer, you will support the day-to-day finance and admin operations of a power station. This is a full-time permanent role, and you will benefit from a hybrid working model, dividing your time between working in the power station and working from home.
Your new role
As Finance and Administration Officer, you will be joining a team which looks after the financial management of the power station. This includes month-end journals and reconciliation, financial reporting and analysis, managing invoices and account payable queries, supporting management with financial forecasting alongside being first point of contact for all financial and administrative activities within the power station. On the administration side, you will be responsible for general office management duties including management of third-party contracts, supporting health and wellbeing initiatives throughout the campus, inventory and supplies purchasing, timesheet recording and reporting, learning and development coordination.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a team player with excellent problem-solving skills. You’ll be required to work autonomously and be able to adapt to the various demands of the role. You’ll be the face of the team both internally and externally, so you will need to have effective communication skills and be able to build lasting relationships with the many stakeholders with whom you’ll interact. You’ll need to have experience in a similar role, with understanding of finance, accounting and invoice processing and experience using SAP, along with strong knowledge of MS Office products.
