About the Role
This Legal Secretarial position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-level support to Solicitors in the Commercial Property & Banking Department of a leading Irish law firm.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience as a legal secretary, preferably in Commercial Property & Banking. They must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced office environment and possess excellent attention to detail.
The role involves a range of tasks including transcribing dictations, formatting documents, filing, invoicing, and administrative support. The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing and arranging registration of Land Registry or Registry of Deeds documents, scheduling title documents, and preparing closing documentation.
Additionally, they will manage data room activities, prepare ROS online returns, and provide reception cover as needed. Strong people skills, digital dictation skills (60 wpm+), and the ability to use their own initiative are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Transcribe dictations accurately and efficiently
* Format and store documents electronically on the firm's practice management system
* Filing, invoicing, and general administrative support
* Prepare and arrange registration of Land Registry or Registry of Deeds documents
* Schedule title documents and prepare closing documentation
* Manage data room activities using HighQ
* Prepare ROS online returns
* Provide reception cover occasionally
Requirements
* Minimum three years of experience as a legal secretary
* Experience in Commercial Property & Banking is preferred
* Excellent attention to detail and strong IT capabilities
* Able to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple activities simultaneously
* Strong people skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
* Digital dictation skills (60 wpm+)
