You are applying for a job at:O'Leary Insurances LimitedWe are part of Brown & Brown Insurance group.Built on meritocracy, our unique company culture rewards self-starters and those who are committed to doing what is best for our customers.ROLE PURPOSETo lead the management and servicing of a commercial portfolio of customers in order to retain profitable existing business and generate new business.RESPONSIBILITIESProvide ongoing servicing to existing clients and closely manage the relationships throughout the renewal cycle to ensure retention of the account – outside of this strategically communicate with customers as required.Analyse customer needs and cover and identify any opportunities to strengthen their risk management structures.Market and present customer accounts to insurers and negotiate premiums in turn on their behalf.Collect and submit any additional information required by underwriters and follow up to ensure placement of the risk.Input all information correctly onto Applied Relay and ensure clear and concise file notes.Monitor and review business figures (new business, renewals, fees & commission, margins etc) and ensure collection of monies due on the account.Mentor and train Account Handlers as required.Attend customer meetings with the Sales team on prospects and provide subject matter expert support as required.Lead and participate in business projects as they arise.Stay abreast of insurer appetites and competitor activity in the marketplace and react accordingly.Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, Central Bank codes, and O’Leary Insurances / B&B procedures and business ethics.ROLE DIMENSIONServices a panel of mid-large customers, typically handling larger accounts end to end.
