Operations Manager Renal Care Business:

Based: This role is field-based and requires onsite presence across each renal care centre each week (Galway, Portlaoise, Wexford) and requirement at our Head office Dublin and Stakeholder meeting locations as needed.
Permanent Role: 35 hour working week

Role:
The Operations Manager of Provider Services will be responsible for the Profit & Loss of the Avitum Provider Units in Ireland with a leadership responsibility for Provider Business colleagues.
The role involves profitably growing and operating the facilities to and within budget by leading the relevant teams to deliver within our Ambulatory Channel.
The individual will successfully create and execute with their management team a 3-year road map of growth which will involve working across the B Braun Ambulatory Channel to develop an aligned approach and brand to how B Braun will compete and deliver across the next decade.
There will be a requirement to ensure an aligned and productive relationship between Avitum Product and Avitum Provider services to maximise opportunities and synergies.
Introduce, maintain and develop management control systems to ensure that every aspect of service performance and quality is continually improved.
Represent Avitum Provider commercially and to market its services to ensure profitable business expansion.
Ensure the safe delivery of patient care in line with and as required by B. Braun Avitum and parent unit policies.
To ensure the provision of service excellence, at all times and to all customers, with patient, customer and employee safety paramount in all activities.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
* Achievement and management of Avitum Provider Profit & Loss targets.
* Development and execution of a 3-year road map aligned to the global strategy.
* Agree and execute a local plan around the global strategy and themes.
* In collaboration with our Finance colleague’s development and delivery of Target plans.
* Development and delivery of business strategies to support and achieve agreed objectives.
* Recruitment and leadership of a management team to deliver growth.
* Working within the pay and reward framework develop team incentives.
* Leading and motivating a multidisciplinary team, ensuring employee development and high performance.
* Provide formal monthly updates to the management team on business progress.
* Ensure all relevant internal and external standards are satisfied.
* Support the Renal Units in developing, and meeting revenue and cost targets.
* Seek out and develop commercial opportunities.
* Identification and management of future Avitum Provider tender bids, builds and expansions.
* Ensure a reliable and safe clinical environment at all times with employee and patient safety paramount in all activities.
* Ensure the timely development and implementation of processes and products as required to develop the business in compliance with appropriate protocols.
* Budgetary control and management ensuring all aspects of financial reporting relating to the process are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
* Plan and implement sustainable staffing models for each of the renal units in accordance with patient numbers and contractual staff ratios.
* Regular review of treatment costs and practice.
* Establish our reputation as a company with best practice in patient care.
* Leadership of contract review meetings to ensure maintenance of existing business.
* Build & maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders for existing contracts and potential new business opportunities.
* Ensure internal audits are performed in accordance with the schedules.
* Maintain interface with Global Marketing & Sales and channel management ensuring needs are met.
* Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for new business growth.
Skills & Experience Requirements:
* Degree level or equivalent in business, technical, or life sciences Leadership or management qualification or willing to undertake within 12 months.
* Experience in the Irish Healthcare sector
* Several years of experience and proven track record within healthcare service provision
* Management & Leadership experience
* Marketing planning and implementation experience
* Budget planning
* Recruitment experience
* Knowledge of HR process from recruitment, performance management, promotion and underperformance.
* Working with external regulatory agencies
