At Gourmet Food Parlour, we have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, enthusiastic and ambitious Assistant Manager to join our team in our Arnott's based restaurants in Dublin City Centre.
The ideal candidate should be skilled at handling interpersonal communications, managing teams, and creating an extremely positive experience for each customer. We're looking for someone who's excited to come to work every day - who's ready to develop the team, grow with the brand & tackle challenges.
Responsibilities and Duties Include:
* Managing the day-to-day financials of the restaurant
* Managing stock levels
* Monitoring compliance with regulations
* Monitoring HACCP standards and cleaning standards
* Supervising and developing team members
* Promoting the restaurant brand
* Liaising with the operations team on a daily basis
* Liaising with our reservations department on a daily basis
* Liaising with our key clients to ensure their reservations/events are seamless
* Motivating teams & developing individual staff
* Displaying leadership abilities
* Being task-driven, with a focus on meeting core objectives
* Maintaining a customer-focused approach to management
* Managing store operations independently
* Managing multiple situations/tasks simultaneously
* Having deep knowledge of customer service
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Being a problem-solver
* Being a concise & clear communicator
* Learning and adapting to our company's standards and procedures
* Holding strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
* Knowledge of the food service industry
* Computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems and software
Criteria to apply for the position:
* 2 years' experience in a managerial role in the Hospitality sector
* Strong knowledge of working towards KPIs and managing a team
* Excellent knowledge of all aspects of food hygiene and HACCP procedures.
Fluent in English - spoken and written.
