This role oversees the governance, relationship, and performance management of strategic IT vendors, aligning their contributions with the organization’s strategic objectives. The Senior Manager serves as the primary point of contact for escalations, performance evaluations, and strategic supplier engagements, driving continuous improvement and fostering collaborative partnershipsWhat you will do:Supplier Performance Management: Develop and implement performance metrics, scorecards, and SLAs to evaluate and monitor supplier performance consistently. Conduct regular performance reviews, addressing deviations and implementing corrective action plans when necessary. Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.Act as escalation point for supplier-related performance issues, resolving conflicts and ensuring mutual objectives are met. Manage a global team, coach and develop team members, manage team performanceContract and Compliance Oversight: Establish and maintain a robust supplier governance framework around contractual obligations.Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, as well as internal policies and procedures. Conduct supplier audits and assessments to assess compliance and identify potential risks. Implement corrective actions and mitigation strategies to address non-compliance or identified risks. Strategic Planning and Alignment: Collaborate with procurement, IT, and business stakeholders to align supplier performance strategies with organizational goals. Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify risks associated with supplier operations and implement mitigation strategies. Monitor market trends to anticipate potential disruptions and adapt supplier strategies accordingly. Reporting and Analytics: Develop and present regular reports on supplier performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership. Utilize data-driven insights to recommend and implement performance improvement initiatives. What you will need:Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 10 years in IT, supplier performance management, or procurement. People Management experience (Global Team)Certifications such as ITIL, CIPS, or PMP are an advantage. Proven track record of monitoring multimillion-dollar supplier portfolios and delivering business value. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Expertise in supplier performance management frameworks, contract negotiation, and compliance. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in using data visualization tools and dashboards. In-depth knowledge of IT procurement, vendor ecosystems, and market trends.
