You will be a crucial acquisition here and the ultimate purpose of your role will be to develop, review, audit, monitor, support and report on both strategic and tactical risk and compliance matters.
Your role will involve:
Monitoring market conditions, changing regulations and economic factors that could impact the company’s operations
Ensuring that the company complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards including labour laws, health and safety regulations and construction standards
Conducting training programs for employees to ensure they understand compliance requirements
Reviewing and assessing contracts for risk implications, ensuring that contractual terms mitigate financial and operational risks
Developing and implementing strategies to mitigate identified risks and evaluate compliance processes, tracking compliance through audits and measurable metrics
Overseeing internal audits and investigations to ensure compliance with policies and regulations
You will need:
Extensive knowledge of the construction industry, with a particular emphasis on managing the different forms of commercial contracts, risk mitigation and insurance
To be skilled in developing organisational policies that align with industry standards
The ability to integrate strategic foundation into daily performance
Proven expertise in ensuring compliance with legal requirements
Experience in preparing license agreements
Strong leadership and influencing skills
Fluency in a second European language (ideally French, Spanish, or Portuguese) is desirable but not essential.
