Our client, a leading multinational medical device company based in County Tipperary, is actively seeking an experienced and talented Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team.
This is an exciting 12-month hourly rate contract opportunity for someone with a strong background in automation engineering and a proven track record of delivering successful, compliant projects within the medical device industry.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to design and implement automation solutions aimed at enhancing manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management skills to ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with industry regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Develop Automation Systems: Enhance manufacturing processes with efficient, reliable, and compliant automation solutions.
Project Management: Lead and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all systems comply with FDA, ISO, and other industry standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing, for seamless integration.
Qualifications & Skills:
Relevant Degree/Diploma: Bachelor's degree or diploma in automation engineering or a related field.
Experience: Proven track record in designing and implementing automation systems in a manufacturing environment.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with FDA, ISO, and other industry-specific standards.
