Description
We are seeking an experienced Accommodation Manager to oversee the Housekeeping operations at a 4-star hotel in Limerick. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in an accommodation management role in a busy hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all Housekeeping operations to deliver exceptional Guest and Member experiences.
* Operate within departmental budgets through effective stock and cost controls, as well as well-managed schedules.
* Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of the Housekeeping/Laundry Team.
* Rostering in line with budget requirements.
* Staff training and development, as well as employee performance evaluation.
* Attend Head of Department meetings.
* Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.
* Purchase, storage, inventory, and control of all housekeeping-related items.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all room categories and amenities among team members.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience as an Accommodation Manager or Assistant in a high-end, high-volume 4/5-star hotel.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A proven team leader who can lead by example and motivate staff.
* High standards for cleanliness and hygiene.
* Eligibility to work full-time in Ireland without restrictions.
* Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
