Role Overview
* Assemble electrical switchgear and associated electromechanical equipment/systems to engineering drawings and production timescales.
* Apply good workmanship to ensure quality standards are maintained for products in the factory and at customer premises.
* Acknowledge and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

* Work from drawings, manuals, schematics, etc.
* Proven experience working on assembly of both mechanical and electrical equipment and electromechanical systems.
* Contribute to fitting, building, or construction of various parts to ensure smooth component amalgamation.
* Good electro/mechanical skills
* Assemble parts or components to build new or repeatable products.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Sound knowledge of engineering tools and electrical hand tools/equipment, including torquing.
* Maturity and engineering practicality
* Adherence to company policies and procedures
* Ability to mentor and develop team members.
* Apply good workmanship to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
* Report substandard/malfunctioning or defective parts.
* Select, measure, and modify components to ensure component fit.
* Carry out MTOs and order material for allocated tasks both internal and site works.
* Assemble prototype and development units with supervisors and managers.
* Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-maintained working environment and equipment.
* Work towards deadlines and strict adherence to Quality and H&S principles.
* Positive attitude, flexible working O/T as required, and ability to fit in as part of a team.
* Complete testing of panels up to and including current injection.
* Perform mechanical/electrical maintenance work and site modifications.
* Conduct thermal imaging inspections and report writing.
* Perform other assigned duties.
Experience/Qualification Criteria
* C&G Electrical Qualification and an Engineering Apprenticeship with AM2 or equivalent.
* Mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
* Experience in electrical switchgear manufacture or similar.
* Field service work/on-site installations experience.
* Familiarity with risk assessments and method statements.
* Current 18th Edition certification.
Time-served Electrician/Technician experience in panel wiring, PLC's, motor control centers, control panels, etc., or industrial installation experience in water treatment plants, Petro-Chemical with MCC's, instrumentation, etc.
