The Panel is currently engaged to source an AML Supervisor on behalf of a bespoke Fund Administrator in Dublin city centre on a permanent basis The AML team is responsible for effectively managing competing internal deadlines and priorities. The department acts as a primary point of contact for clients regarding AML queries. Core responsibilities involve the drafting of desk procedures, performing risk assessments to clients and investors on a daily basis and adhering to SLAs. You will also carry out supervisory responsibilities, such as interviewing, hiring, training and managing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing and resolving employee complaints and concerns. Responsibilities Draft and implement appropriate written procedures. Assist with creating an agenda and training sessions for the staff, as well as staff meetings. Respond to inquiries and participate in tasks, assignments and projects as directed by the AML manager. Risk Assessing all new and existing investors and clients and escalate potential risks as applicable Preparing investor and client files for sign off (AML clearance) Sign off on all client and investor due diligence files. Maintaining a record of complete and incomplete AML investors and ensuring action is taken to receive all outstanding documentation. Learn about new regulation and assist the company in complying with its regulatory obligations Handling and escalating complex queries and complaints in accordance with company policy; Carry out AML refresh projects and keep AML records up-to-date Assist with different reporting (MLRO, KPIs, Boards) Requirements Experience dealing with AML Functions in an Investor Services environment is a pre- requisite Ability to make appropriate decisions under challenging conditions, which may involve dealing with a range of responsibilities and defined timetables Ability to identify issues/gaps, and determine the appropriate solution to these Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other teams Experience in training and development Proven experience as supervisor or relevant role Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ACOI qualification desirable but not a pre requisite The salary for this role is negotiable depending on experience and includes an excellent benefits package Please contact Liam Murphy if you meet the key criteria and you wish to apply Skills: AML Funds Transfer Agency
