PART 3: Principal Responsibilities
11. Adhere to and maintain compliance with all Health and Safety procedures within your work. Ensuring you are responsible for yourself and/or team members who report into you
12. Direct and coordinate activities of the Division concerned with the planning, delivery, pricing and/or support of services
13. Manage staff, prepare work schedules and assign specific duties
14. Review financial performance and activity reports and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement
15. Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures
16. Determine staffing requirements, oversee recruitment and selection processes and the training and development of new employees
17. Monitor businesses and agencies to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits
18. Oversee activities directly related to providing services
19. Direct and coordinate financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximise investments, and increase efficiency
20. Determine goods and services to be delivered, and set prices and credit terms, based on forecasts of customer demand
21. Manage the movement of goods into and out of facilities
22. Plan and direct activities such as sales promotions, coordinating with other department heads as required
PART 4: Person Specification Experience
23. Fully qualified electrician
24. Experience motivating and managing teams
25. Ability to manage and deliver against KPI’s
26. Financial and budgetary management experience
27. Electrical experience desirable
