We are seeking a dynamic Café Manager for our recently refurbished store in beautiful Kilquade, Wicklow – an award-winning location recently named Sustainable Store of the Year.

This is a day-time position, where the successful candidate will work across weekdays and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and Inspire: Oversee front-of-house operations, ensuring a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for customers while motivating and developing the team to deliver outstanding service.
* Customer Experience: Cultivate a customer-focused culture, ensuring exceptional service, high-quality food presentation, and prompt problem resolution.
* Operational Excellence: Maintain a well-organised, clean, and efficient café environment, ensuring smooth daily operations, from opening to closing procedures.
* Sales & POS Management: Efficiently manage the point-of-sale system, monitor transactions, and ensure cash-handling accuracy.
* Stock & Display Management: Supervise stock levels, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure appealing and organised food displays.
* Compliance & Safety: Enforce food safety and hygiene regulations, implement best practices, and promote a safe working environment for staff and customers.
* Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.
Requirements
* Managerial or supervisory experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
* Strong leadership and team management skills with a passion for mentoring and developing staff.
* Excellent customer service and communication abilities, with confidence in engaging customers.
* Food Safety Training and awareness.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced setting.
