This position will be based across various sites around Ireland.

The HV Commissioning Manager role involves managing and leading a core team for various EP&R projects.
This includes developing, managing and executing all commissioning and related activities in conformance with company policies and procedures, contracts, plans, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
This role directs staff in various functions necessary in their roles to meet or exceed all project commissioning objectives.
It requires authoritative knowledge and extensive technical and operational background, holistic grasp of complex situations with the ability to move between intuitive and analytical approaches with ease, plus the ability to see the overall picture and alternative approaches.
What you will be doing * Work closely with various stakeholders including the Project Manager, Engineering Managers, and the Construction Team to provide subject-matter expert advice and leadership.
* Responsible for functionally developing, managing and delivering the means and methods of the commissioning execution strategy, schedule and cost.
* Lead and direct all commissioning activity for a project including the lead staff position responsible for and directing all commissioning activities at the site.
* Ensure best practices by developing and implementing turnover, pre-commissioning, commissioning, preservation and maintenance processes and systems considering and including: contractual requirements, project and construction schedule, reliability, maintenance, materials management and change management.
* Establish system boundaries, scopes of work, and turnover / commissioning execution plans.
* Communicate turnover / commissioning roles and scope for members of design and construction teams; understands the commissioning test plans/protocols, and coordinates and/or attends design, construction and operability reviews.
* Provide input on as-built drawing preparation and fleet management documentation.
* Be involved and participate in vendor supplier and/or subcontractor meetings to resolve issues.
* Support the estimating team for future projects.
* Identify potential clients that should be approached for upcoming opportunities.
Is this job for me?
* Level 8 bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering or related fields (or equivalent work experience in HV commissioning).
* 7+ years of experience leading commissioning activities for projects in the Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution, or Oil & Gas industries * Strong understanding of control systems, electrical systems, instrumentation, and mechanical equipment related to power generation.
