Financial Analyst Job Description
Overview of Main Responsibilities:
* Complete a broad range of financial services and deliverables providing financial support to site manufacturing operations.
* Assess reasonableness and relevance of financial assumptions with limited supervision.
* Perform general accounting activities and reconciliations as part of the month-end processes and SOX compliance.
* Assist in the preparation of the site Annual Plan & quarterly Plan updates.
* Maintain controls to assure the integrity of assets and compliance with GAAP & applicable Corporate & Divisional Policies.
* Review and approval of capital project and materials expenditures.
* Prepare and review monthly KPI metrics for areas of responsibility and communicate to key stakeholders and senior management.
* Coordinate capital spend cashflows and provide financial tracking and maintenance support to Project Managers.
* Coordinate physical inventory and fixed asset cycle counts with affiliate business partners.
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with 2-3 years PQE.
* Excellent financial analysis skills & strong attention to detail.
* Ability to support area senior management and work with cross-functional teams.
* High level of proficiency in MS Excel and understanding of financial accounting systems (SAP experience preferred).
