Pension Scheme Accountant
We are seeking a meticulous and self-driven Pension Scheme Accountant to join our team in Dublin. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant with experience in pension scheme accounting and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare Annual Reports for Pension Schemes within a team environment.
* Produce accurate Scheme Annual Reports in accordance with Statements of Recommended Practice and regulatory requirements.
* Liaise with internal teams, including administrators, client services managers, actuaries, and legal professionals, during the accounts preparation process.
* Communicate effectively with external auditors to facilitate efficient audits and respond to queries in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with the Manager Pension Fund Accounts on all assigned tasks.
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with expertise in pension scheme accounting and financial reporting.
* Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and deliver high-quality work while meeting deadlines.
* Displays self-directed initiative and a strong sense of ownership.
* Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
