Description:
Our client is looking for a Sr. Security Architect to secure enterprise information by determining security requirements.
Tasks:
* Plans, implements and tests security systems.
* Prepares security standards, policies, and procedures.
* Plans security systems by evaluating network and security technologies.
* Adheres to industry standards on-prem, remote (DR), and cloud environments.
* Enhances security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions.
* Answers technical and procedural questions.
* Teaches improved processes.
* Mentors team members.
* Defines, operationalizes, and documents the security architecture and assessment function.
* Elevates the security engineering team through mentoring and knowledge transfer.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Critical thinking skills and the ability to problem solve
* Strong organizational skills including attention to detail
* Candidate must be a self-starting team player, able to manage multiple assignments at one time
Skills Required:
* Experience as a Sr. Security Architect.
* Experience planning, implementing and testing security systems.
* Experience developing requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices.
* Experience designing public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software.
* Experience developing, standardizing and documenting reference architectures; specifically, zero trust architecture.
* Experience determining and applying appropriate controls and criteria for security architecture reviews.
