Head of Finance (Business Partnering & Reporting) Le Meas Executive Search are delighted to partner with a Leading Financial Services Company to hire a Head of Finance Business Partnering on an initial 6-9 month FTC for their Dublin operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee & support the financial planning process, including annual budget preparation & periodic forecasting, and monthly cost reporting.
Provide financial evaluation, financial modelling, analysis and strategic business advice on IT programmes to enable strong commercial decision making and project financial governance.
Build relationships with key senior stakeholders to understand business priorities.
Partner with the business to understand emerging issues.
Analyse this information to provide insights and determine the implications for the company's financial performance and strategy.
Provide excellent business partnering, MI and analysis and business case support for IT Divisions demonstrating strong commercial acumen.
Develop and enhance the working relations with other European finance teams and Group.
Review, design and implement financial reporting and controls in accordance with group requirements and standard accounting practices to ensure appropriate financial governance is in place to meet existing and emerging risks and regulatory/accounting changes.
Qualifications:
Experience working in a similar role within the Financial Services and/or IT industry.
Experienced leader with excellent management experience leading Business Partners.
Qualified accountant with significant post qualification experience.
Deep knowledge and understanding of Finance reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cost optimisation.
IT cost reporting & cost allocation knowledge is an advantage.
Experience in managing the financial and commercial aspects of both new business cases and subsequent change programmes.
The ability to set and deliver challenging goals while committing the organisation to improved performance; tenacious and accountable in driving results.
Knowledge of Financial systems, data and systems design and implementation (SAP, Oracle EPM and Apptio) would be an advantage.
Strong knowledge of cost allocation.
