Your Role & Impact
As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and contribute to key financial processes, including:
* Financial Reporting & Analysis – Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under IFRS and Solvency II.
* Problem-Solving & Process Improvement – Identify efficiencies and drive improvements in financial processes.
* Regulatory Compliance – Assist with Solvency II regulatory reporting and year-end external audits.
* Collaboration & Leadership – Work with internal and external stakeholders while mentoring and developing junior team members.
* Strategic Contributions – Assess complex transactions and align key stakeholders on accounting treatments.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Minimum 2+ years of post-qualification experience in financial services (Big 4 audit firm or (re)insurance experience preferred)
* Knowledge of IFRS 17 and Solvency II is a plus
* Experience using SAP is an advantage
* Strong analytical skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines while delivering high-quality work
