Our client, a leading global brand in the convenience retail sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Retail & Shopper Marketing Specialist to join their dynamic team.
In this exciting role, you will lead marketing initiatives for category and convenience products, ensuring seamless execution and impactful results across retail stores. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll help implement strategies that drive sales, enhance customer engagement, and strengthen the brand’s market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead marketing for category and convenience products in stores.
2. Develop marketing materials for the Extra loyalty programme.
3. Collaborate with Marketing & Category teams on brand strategies.
4. Align marketing with global brand direction.
5. Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns to drive sales.
6. Implement brand strategies in-store through cross-functional teams.
7. Manage the full promotional cycle from concept to execution.
8. Oversee in-store POS best practices.
9. Develop and maintain an annual marketing plan.
10. Manage ATL & BTL marketing within budget.
11. Build relationships with category managers, store teams, and suppliers.
12. Analyse sales, customer insights, and campaign performance.
13. Drive in-store activations to enhance customer experience.
14. Strong project management and campaign execution skills.
15. Ability to work cross-functionally and manage third-party suppliers.
16. Data-driven mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
17. Strong communication and presentation skills.
18. Effective stakeholder management and relationship-building.
19. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Minimum Qualifications and experience required:
1. Minimum of 6 years' experience in retail marketing, shopper marketing, or a related field.
2. Proven ability to manage and execute marketing projects and campaigns successfully.
3. Strong experience in working cross-functionally and managing relationships with third-party suppliers.
4. Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and optimise strategies.
5. Excellent skills in communication, presentation, and managing stakeholder relationships.
6. Experience in managing both ATL and BTL marketing activities effectively.
7. A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
