Our customer who are a native Irish organisation supplying specialist healthcare services throughout Ireland, and who are appointing this newly created role within their organisation to strengthen their quality, regulatory, and safety functions during a period of rapid expansion.OverviewEstablished over 20 years ago, the organisation currently operates 90+ centre and sites nationally and a work force of over 3,000 people. The organisation has grown continuously year-to-year, and this newly created post is designed to meet the demands of this ongoing growth and continue to adhere to regulatory and legislative requirements of operating within the private healthcare space.Reporting to the CEO, your role will be to coordinate the activities and duties of the Regulatory, Quality, and Safety (RQS) department through their senior management structure, and to operate as a strategic partner to executive decision-makers - advising them of internal audit findings, the impact of new or changing legislation, and any operational risk that is identified across the organisation.Your core responsibilities will includeDirect personnel management of a leadership team, who in-turn manage a function of >25 people.Overall responsibility for RQS activities and performance.Executing the annual RQS business plan through resources, budget, and performance management.Forming part of the organisational Senior Leadership Team (SLT). Advice, coach and partner to SLT and C-Suite on all matters pertaining to RQS.Review and analyse the overall performance of RQS, implementing improvement where necessary and communicating service-improvement plans to the COO.Oversee external legal and contractual obligations for the organisation, ensuring service-delivery compliance with the same.Maintain risk assessment and emergency response plans for all service-delivery teams and departments.Characteristics of the PostEmployment: Permanent, full-time.Remuneration: €100k - €120k per annum salary plus benefits package and company carLocation: LeinsterProfileEducationMaster’s level education in a related field, or possessing equivalent professional experience.ExperienceYou possess proven safety, quality, and regulatory management at a Senior Manager, Head-of-Function, or Director level, within the private or public healthcare sector in Ireland.You are a people manager who can both coordinate the activities and efforts of a large multidisciplinary team and manage people on an individual level.You have a strong understanding of the operational impact of HIQA, MHC, and HAS compliance.You have experience leading complex internal audits, analysing and presenting outcomes to senior leadership and C-Suite.Prior experience within the public or private healthcare sectors.QualitiesStrong leadership skills.A great communicator, written and verbal, with the ability to work seamlessly with C-Suite and Senior Operating levels.Analytical and precise, with the ability to effectively present complicated information through understandable means.Excellent time-management, organisation, and resource allocation skills.Adept at problem-solving and taking evidence-based decisions.To submit an application please follow the below link:Application Link
