Health and Safety Executive (Maternity Leave Cover – 12 Months)
Excel Recruitment is seeking a Health and Safety Executive on behalf of our client for a 12-month maternity leave contract based in South Dublin with hybrid working options available.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety professional to contribute to a well-established organisation, ensuring best practices and compliance across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
* Develop, implement, and review H&S policies and procedures.
* Deliver training programs and promote a strong culture of workplace safety.
* Investigate incidents, compile reports, and recommend corrective actions.
* Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure best industry practices are upheld.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a Health and Safety role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
* Relevant H&S qualifications, such as a diploma or certification in Occupational Health and Safety.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
