Chef de Partie - Pastry We are currently recruiting for a professional Chef de Partie specialising in Pastry to join our team to assist with excellent cooking according to the chef's recipes and specifications.
Key Responsibilities: · Preparing a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, breads etc.
following traditional and modern recipes
· Optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
· Decorating & presenting dishes to a high standard
· In conjunction with the Head Chef, create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers.
· Adhere to and help enforce strict health & hygiene standards
The Ideal candidate will have: · Proven experience as Pastry Chef, baker or relevant role.
· Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes.
· Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
· Excellent attention to detail & creativity.
· Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free, sugarless etc.)
· Confident working on your own initiative and also part of a successful team.
· Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or relevant field.
